The Pull Call function is a powerful feature that comes with Webex Calling Professional. It allows you to seamlessly move calls between devices (such asa Cisco IP phone and your mobile phone) without any disruption to the call. For example, pulling a call between devices can be useful in a scenario where you have started a call on your desk phone, but need to leave your desk and want to continue the call on your mobile phone. This article demonstrates how you can pull calls on different types of devices.


Cisco IP Phones


While you are connected to an active call on a device other than your Cisco 6800, 7800, or 8800 Series IP phone, you will see the active caller's number on the display of the IP phone and the top left line key will be flashing red. This means that the call can be pulled to the IP phone. Pull the call by pressing the "Pull Call" softkey on the bottom left of the phone's display. 


Webex Mobile App


  1. While you are participating in an active call on a device other than the Webex mobile app and would like to pull a call to the Webex mobile app, launch the app on your mobile device and tap the "Calling" tab (symbolized by a telephone icon).

  2. Within the Calling menu, tap the blue "+" icon in the upper-right corner.


  3. When ready to pull the call to your mobile device, tap the "Pull Call" option in the dropdown menu. The call will be pulled to your mobile device.
